Making Andes Mint Mocha At Home

There are only four, maybe five, ingredients in an amazing Andes Mint Mocha.  The first is, of course, Andes Mints.  For every cup you make, you’ll need a total of four Andes Mints.  Milk or half n half, heated, melts three and a half of the mints in the bottom of your cup.  Strong, hot good quality coffee rounds out the cup for a fresh, minty, chocolate-flavored coffee.  Topping the delicious drink is a cap of whipped cream and half of an Andes Mint.  The drink looks amazing and tastes like the best coffee house minted coffee you’ve ever had.

Adding Flavors to your Andes Mint Mocha

It’s easy to change up your Andes Mint Mocha for a slightly different flavor for a change of pace.  Sprinkling ground cinnamon or nutmeg on the whipped cream or mixing it into the drink itself makes a sensational change.  If you would like to take your drink a little further south of the border, add a bit of chili powder to the mix.  Aztecs mixed chili in with their chocolate for an amazingly spicy and smooth blend.  You can also use other flavors of Andes candies Cherry Chocolate will be a great blend with coffee, giving you a tangy sweetness.  Toffee would also be a fantastic choice for a buttery coffee that tastes like you just stepped out of the coffeehouse.  Next time you don’t want to drive for coffee make Andes Mint Mocha at home for a great boost to your day.
